Chinese Children Train for Future Olympics

With all the interest in China's performance at the London 2012 Olympics, distressing photos have emerged on Chinese blogs and forums of the way in which many children are forced to train by the state.

Every time a Chinese athlete does well in international competition, it "adds powder" to the face of the Chinese Communist regime, so apparently, brutalizing young children is an acceptable price to pay.

Many Chinese netizens were horrified by the photos, although some had experience of being pressured by the regime to allow their own children to join the 'elite' training squads in gymnastics, particularly.

China Uncensored

There was a time when the world was full of magic and splendor, and all on Earth existed in harmony with Heaven. You could see it in the arts, feel it in the air, and hear it in the beat of a drum.
This was a land of heroes and sages, dragons and phoenixes, emperors and immortals. Known today as China, this place was once called 'the Land of the Divine'.

What if you could journey back and visit this lost paradise?

Shen Yun brings the profound spirit of this lost civilization to life on stage with unrivaled artistic mastery.

Every dance movement, every musical note, makes this a stunning visual and emotional experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Banned in communist China today, the non-profit Shen Yun is dedicated to reviving 5,000 years of civilization that has been destroyed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

2017 World Tour

Shen Yun Performing Arts has begun its 2017 World Tour that will perform in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania. There are now five performing companies that will spend  seven months of the year bringing the magic of Shen Yun to the world.

Based in New York, Shen Yun Performing Arts was established by Falun Dafa practitioners in 2006. The company’s mission is to use performing arts to revive the essence of Chinese culture—traditionally considered a divinely inspired civilization. Since the CCP is officially an atheist regime, it is afraid of the freedom of expression this arts company enjoys in the West.

In 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) initiated a persecution campaign against Falun Dafa, a meditation discipline based on the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance.

While Falun Dafa practitioners in China continue to face horrific abuse, the Party has been extending its persecution outside of China.

Regime afraid

Why is one of the supposedly most powerful regimes in the world so afraid of a performing arts company?

Why would the CCP harass Falun Dafa practitioners outside China? The primary aim is to prevent them from revealing the tragic reality of the persecution to the world—but that is not the only reason.

The communist regime is an atheist regime. It does not want Chinese people to have spiritual beliefs as that would undermine the corrupt CCP.

The CCP is also trying to infiltrate Western society to manipulate the international community’s opinion of Falun Dafa.

Despite employing multiple underhand tactics, the CCP has been unable to stop the performances. Shen Yun now performs in over 100 cities every year; most shows are sold-out. Shen Yun has caused a sensation,  and going to see Shen Yun has become the latest trend.
