Victim of Tiananmen Massacre Finally Stands

"Chinese finally stand up!" was a famous Mao slogan when the communists took over China in 1949. Since then, Chinese people have had to recite this slogan time and time again, and posters containing this slogan are posted in many places in China. It is a strong propaganda slogan that the communists have used for 6 decades to brainwash the Chinese that "the Communist Party and Mao are the saviors of the Chinese people".

Zheng Fang, one of the June 4th massacre victims who lost his legs when crushed by a PLA tank, can finally stand up thanks to the helping hands extended by American doctors and the public. With the new legs, Zheng Fang also gears up for a brand new life.

Chinese media last week revealed that the Department of Foreign Affairs was against the visit of Aung San Suu Kyi, who was invited by Chinese leader Xi.

The visit of Nobel Peace Prize winner and opposition leader of Burma, Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi to China, to meet Xi and Li Keqiang was announced in Chinese newspapers, not by the Foreign Affairs Department.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has always been held by the former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader, Jiang Zemin’s faction, and the previous four foreign Ministers,  Qian Qichen,  Tang Jiaxuan, Li Zhaoxing and Yang Jiechi were all Jiang’s cronies. But since Xi Jingping came to power, the personel in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have changed. There were large shifts in personel in the first quarter of this year, and the assistant to LiZhaoxing, Li Kungsheng was dismissed on January 2nd, 2015.

Xi Jinping is apparently so angry at the Department that he refused to allow the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to get involved in the visit of Aung San Suu Kyi this week. It was reported that as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was against the visit, that Xi in the end ordered the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party to organize the visit, and also ordered the Department to: “Don’t merely invite her, but also publicize this event.”

Xinhua News Agency quoted from the Chinese regime's External Liaison Department website, that Aung San Suu Kyi who is leading the delegation of the National League for Democracy party, was invited by the CCP.

Burma is going to hold another election in November, and Aung San Suu Kyi has publicly declared her intention to stand in the 2015 presidential election, but whether she will be allowed to stand is still unknown. Recently the political environment in Burma has been unstable, and China held a military training exercise on the border of China and Burma.

One of the popular news blogs in China, Wangyi posted a special section, with full coverage of the life of Anng San Suu Kyi. Linked here. One article says: Anng San Suu Kyi's political struggle is a nonviolent, individual persistent struggle, her aim is to allow people to live without fear; to return power to the people.
